Nas (Nasir Jones) is an American rapper widely regarded as one of hip-hop's greatest lyricists, best known for his 1994 debut album Illmatic, frequently cited as one of the greatest hip-hop albums ever made. He's released numerous acclaimed follow-ups including It Was Written, Stillmatic, God's Son, and the Grammy-winning King's Disease series, and has been nominated for 14 Grammy Awards. He's also an entrepreneur and investor, and Harvard's Nasir Jones Hip-Hop Fellowship is named for him.
