#Shorts Anti vaxxer and one of the greatest guitarists ever, Eric Clapton, who wasn’t had a US Top 10 hit since 1998, has proclaimed that he won’t play at venues that require vaccinations because he doesn’t want his audience “discriminated against”.
Presumably, this means he won’t play anywhere in his home country of England, since the Prime Minister announced vaccinations would be required at concert venues as the Delta variant of Covid spikes around the globe.
Clapton apparently didn’t care about discrimination when he asked the crowd of people attending his own concert in 1975, to raise their hand if they’re immigrants and to leave his show because he didn’t want them there. He was totally cool with that discrimination.
Recently, Clapton teamed up with fellow anti-vaxxer and anti-masker Van Morrison, who had two top 10 US hits in 1969. They released a ridiculous song that sounds exactly what it is - Old Men Yelling At Clouds. Although in this case, they’re harming everyone else.
